Pay it forward
I was inspired in Italy by a concept called “Caffè Sospeso”, literally translated it means “Suspended Coffee”. Caffè Sospeso is a deeply-rooted Neapolitan tradition that has spread all over Italy. It's based on kindness and paying it forward to someone in need.
“When a Neapolitan is happy for some reason, instead of paying for just one coffee, he pays for two — one for himself and one for someone who happens in later. It’s like offering a coffee to the rest of the world...”

“All who joy would win must share it, happiness was born a twin.”
-Byron
I love this so much! It's so simple and you can feel that it comes from a place of joy and connection.
Paying for a coffee for a stranger to treasure, especially for someone who might not be able to afford it, celebrates the invisible connections that become real, through kindness and generosity.
The extra coffee is held, suspended, imbued in kindness, waiting to create the chain of giving and gratitude.
I want to make it possible for my work to be sospeso.
If you’d like to gift a “Session Sospeso” for someone who might need it please email me: windi@windisee.com to arrange.
